Edouard Pagant

In this sofa, whose cushions have been emptied and filled with soil, were sown the seeds of five species of "weeds" collected in the streets of Belgium. Three of them were imported at the beginning of the 20th century, either voluntarily by botanists or accidentally by transporting goods, and have acclimatised and spread throughout southern Europe. The last two, which are native to Europe, have spread beyond its borders in their current range.
